SKILL & DUTIES OF SARDEG STAFF

 

  1. Project Director: The Project Director shall be a top Director with broad ICT management skills, highly competent computer literacy skills and excellent negotiating capabilities. The Director shall have a wide range of good personal contact capacities within Government and the domestic business sector with a strong sense of leadership. He/she will be reporting to the Steering Committee. Duties and Responsibilities of the Project Director are:

  • Reporting to the Steering Committee on project activities

  • Overall in charge of the project.

  • Receiving reports from the head of the Content and Technology and the Business and Information Development coordinators on the projects’ activities.

  • Quality assurance.

  1. Business and Information Development Coordinator: The Coordinator shall be at least a graduate with competent skills in general management, able to design business development strategy and to establish good inter-personal relationships. Duties and Responsibilities of the Business and Information Development Coordinator are:

  • Coordinating marketing and promotion activities.

  • Identify more partners and build strong networks.

  • To facilitate business and development groups.

  • Building of business partnerships.

  • Conducting fundraising activities.

  • Identifying and developing new commercial activities as well as conducting pilot projects.

  • To repackage content and other information from partners.

  • Initiating relations with other ICT projects within Regional .

  • Coordinating workshops and seminars.

  1. Technology and Content Coordinator: The Technology and Content Coordinator shall be a graduate in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Information Management with broad experience in IT related issues, Internet application development and maintenance. The coordinator shall be an overall in charge of portals. Duties and Responsibilities of the Technology and Content Coordinator are:

  • Content management.

  • Portal development, administration and system development management and
    maintenance.

  • Overall support for offline IT activities.

  1. Temporary Personnel

  • Content Editors, Translator, Web Developer Business Consultants etc.
