SARDEG will generate, repackage,
outsource and link development information produced by the
government, development partners, NGOs/CBOs, academic institutions,
the private sector and other development actors in Bangladesh,
India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. The existing contents, technologies,
and applications from the country gateways will be integrated to the
optimal level to avoid duplication. A joint content management
strategy will be formulated in consultation with the country
gateways. SARDEG will identify new content sources and new
development topics and coordinate content generation activities.
It will constantly mobilize content
from reputable partners and ensure effective editorial and
translation management of the content. In order to achieve the
SARDEG’s goals, the well-defined sourcing, selection, content
management and maintenance policies/ strategies will be maintained
to ensure high quality, reliable, authoritative, and up to date
content. Partnerships will be reinforced with commitment letter of
partnership and memorandum of understanding. SARDEG will work with
relevant partners and beneficiaries to increase availability of
relevant content.
