SARDEG will adopted a pricing strategy, which is flexible in terms
of the client service being offered to and the scope of the work.
Offline services, website development/online product catalogues,
hosting, trainings and consultancies already will be offered at a
cost depending on the nature of the client and the scope of work.
SARDEG will continue with this
strategy whilst competing for consultancy work in the market but at
the same time maintain a balance by reducing price to community
based and marginalized groups like SMEs and NGOs. The Gateway aims
at helping local SMEs in countries to penetrate the digital market
and the civil society to create network amongst themselves and other
stakeholders in the region.
SARDEG databases will have a subscription for various services like
exporters and importers database. A facilitation fee will be
introduced to links and banners. SARDEG is also planning to charge
on e-procurement services after completion of the initial phase.
SARDEG plans to generate revenue from
major partners like Universities, Hospitals, Government departments
like Industrial Development, Training & Personnel, and Police
organisations (that have limited in-house ICT capabilities) to the
tune of 50% of the initial capital expenditure. It is expected this
will increase by 25% in the coming year.
