SARDEG will offer ICT consultancy

region, and channel these valuable resources to fulfil the ICT
requirements of the countries. Our mission is to help our clients

ICT Training
SARDEG in collaboration with other
partners will conduct ICT related short courses and training. As ICT
proliferates in every sphere of activities in the region the need to
make effective use of ICT in all sectors will increase. While ICT
training can help develop the core ICT skills required it may not
address the more fundamental issue of the effective and efficient
use of ICT in the work place. SARDEG’s will offer a range of
training services to help various oganisations develop their use of
ICT. Examples include:

SARDEG will also provide for

available for purchase and may be provided free of charge where
appropriate to in-service training. Resources can also be created to
the needs of individual organisations.
Clearing House
The SARDEG clearinghouse on
development will be an online resource for all those with an
interest in regional materials: pamphlets, posters, training
materials, job ads, electronic media and other documentations
designed to promote socio-economic development of the South Asian
countries. The clearinghouse portal will also give easy access to a
wealth of information on policies, programs, and financing
strategies for initiatives striving to improve the lives of
children, families and communities. The clearinghouse will meet the
information needs of the community based organisatuions in the
region and serve as an online resource center providing timely,
relevant research, web-based information, and training materials for
business clients. The overall goals of the SARDEG clearinghouse are
