Research and
Training Centers
Development Gateway Foundation is cooperating with developing
countries to build and draw upon their local strengths in
information and communications technology (ICT). Research and
training centers have been created as part of DGF’s global network
of partners.
These centers have their own work programs to extend the reach of
DGF’s mission, and to contribute to the work of the foundation
globally. Managed by leading institutions, they have been developing
local-language software applications, studying e-government issues,
providing training for local development needs, and more.
The research and training centers are funded by the national
governments through in-kind donation to DGF.
