Aid Effectiveness Partners

There are plenty of ICT companies in the world. The Development Gateway Foundation is different because we focus exclusively on how ICT can benefit aid and development.

As an independent, nonprofit facilitator, DGF brings all sides to the table — local, national, international. Together, we develop and implement ICT tools that address shared challenges and make aid more effective.

International Steering Committee

The primary partner for in-country implementation of DGF aid-related programs is a country’s government. A formal steering committee on aid effectiveness also helps guide our work in this area, and the member organizations assist with in-country implementation, if appropriate.

The steering committee includes officials from:

  • Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

  • The World Bank

  • United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

These organizations were instrumental in the creation and launch of the Aid Management Platform (AMP), along with the government of Ethiopia which piloted the program, and the government of India, which funded the AMP-related technical work of the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing.
