Partners
The Development Gateway Foundation is a small organization. Yet
thanks to the Internet and the collaboration of hundreds of
partners, our programs have global reach.
Building Alliances to Reach Shared Goals
DGF engages with local and international development leaders to
identify needs within our core areas of competence: aid management,
online procurement, and knowledge-sharing. We then build alliances
and implement practical, web-based tools that support shared
development goals.
Our independent, rapid-implementation approach – and World Bank
heritage – are engaging hundreds of partners. These include
governments, international donors, nongovernmental organizations,
and the private sector.
Growing Partnerships with the Country Gateways
DGF's partners also include the member organizations of our Country
Gateway Network. These are locally-owned entities providing
Web-related services for development in nearly 50 countries. DGF
helped start them and now they are helping DGF to expand upon its
mission.
In addition, DGF works with several research and training centers
that have been established in developing nations by partner
governments. These centers extend the reach of DGF's mission and
help us draw upon local innovation in information and communications
technologies (ICT) for development.
